Temple in Watercolor ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and who we share it with.

Information We Collect

  • Checkout: when you commission a painting, Stripe collects your name, email, shipping address, and payment details on our behalf. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Temple selection / custom requests: after checkout, we collect which temple you'd like painted (or a custom description) and any special requests for your order.
  • Photo uploads: if you upload your own exterior photo(s) of a temple, we use them only to paint your piece. We ask that uploads be exterior photos only, since photography isn't permitted inside temples.
  • Notify-me signups: if you ask to be notified when a specific temple is added to the catalog, we collect the email address you provide.
  • Site analytics: we use analytics software to understand general traffic patterns (pages visited, general location, device type) — this does not identify you personally.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to fulfill your order, send proofs for approval, ship physical prints, and improve this website. We do not sell your information to anyone.

Third-Party Services

  • Stripe — processes payment and checkout information.
  • Printify / Sensaria — our print fulfillment partner; receives your shipping address for framed orders only.
  • Google Analytics — provides anonymized website traffic statistics.

We encourage you to review each provider's own privacy policy for details on how they handle your information.

How We Protect Your Information

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us and only use it for the purposes described above.

Your Choices

You can decline to submit a notify-me signup and use ad-blocking or cookie-blocking browser settings to limit analytics tracking. If you'd like us to delete information you've previously sent us, contact us using the information below.

Children's Privacy

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
